A leading telecommunications company is looking for an SDN and Security Product Architect in Spain. The role involves owning technical solutions, collaborating with teams, and ensuring product delivery. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and strong communication skills. The successful candidate will work as an SDN and Security Product Architect and will have the opportunity to bring to market state-of-the-art business products for business customers on a global footprint. The role is highly interactive and will offer the opportunity to work with several internal departments and external partners as well as Group and Local Markets teams.
The successful candidate keeps up to date on latest technologies, trends and relevant vendors on modern SDN models. They continuously grow in both technical and soft skills areas, with a solution driven mindset. Excellent communication skills are essential in this role, as well as experience in talking to different areas of business, Senior Management and Directors, Product Management, Category Management and Vendors.
Own the end-to-end technical solution from conception to delivery, ensuring products meet requirements and are launched with the right balance of compliance, cost, time, and quality. This includes acting as the technical design authority and reviewing service models, IT architecture, security, and legal policies.
Translate functional and non-functional requirements into comprehensive, high-level solutions and designs (HLD).
Create and deliver technical product collateral, such as the Technical Service Description, HLDs, and technical options papers, while providing expert guidance.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure high-quality requirements and a healthy product backlog, while also managing the technical aspects of vendor relationships.
Support the overall product strategy, identifying opportunities for innovation and ensuring customers benefit from the latest technology.
Assess and quantify the impact of requirements, including estimating the time and costs for delivery.
Manage the product lifecycle, from development and in-life operations to end-of-life events.
Contribute to the creation and evaluation of RFx documents.
Master complex problems and summarize them in simple terms for different audiences.
