Job Description

The Spa Receptionist acts as the first point of contact for clients, providing a warm welcome and ensuring an exceptional experience from arrival to departure. This role involves managing reservations, providing information about services, and maintaining smooth communication between clients and the spa team.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage reservations for treatments and services, coordinating schedules and ensuring availability.
  • Provide detailed information about spa services, treatments, and promotions.
  • Handle phone calls and emails, responding to inquiries and scheduling appointments.
  • Process payments and issue receipts, handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Keep client records updated with contact information and preferences.
  • Coordinate with therapists and spa staff to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, creating a welcoming environment.
  • Offer drinks and engage in conversation with clients in the waiting area.
  • Handle client complaints or concerns efficiently and professionally.
  • Actively participate in other Spa operations such as promotions across the resort, actively contributing to product and service sales, workshops, and recreational activities related to the department.
  • Work collaboratively with the team of therapists, fitness instructors, and other department members to foster a great work environment and team spirit.
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures, including safety and hygiene standards.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in spa, hospitality, or wellness environments.

  • Ability to effectively interact with guests and other team members.

Physical Demands:
  • This position requires the ability to focus on guests' needs while remaining calm and courteous.
  • Occasionally standing, walking, lifting, and carrying up to 20 pounds.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Education and Experience Required:
  • Studies in Tourism, Administration, or a related field are a plus.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Spa Receptionist or Front Office.
  • High level of English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of a second language (French or German) is a plus.

Candidate must be a citizen of the European Union or possess a valid work permit for Spain.
