We are searching for a Social Media Manager with 3+ years of experience in a corporate or agency setting who has helped companies to grow their social media presence (across the US and/or globally), managed high-volume social media posting calendars, and has proven community management and follower engagement skills. You will
- (Required) Have 3+ years of experience managing an active, high-volume, national/global social media calendar in a corporate or agency setting.
- (Required) Have 3+ years of experience using social media scheduling and content management platforms such as Agorapulse, Sprout Social, or Hootsuite in a corporate or agency setting.
- Use social media to promote corporate events, conferences, and speaking engagements.
- Develop and distribute monthly plans and reports for all social media channels to various of our teams.
- Track and report on social media engagement, performance, and trends to gain insight on traffic and campaign effectiveness.
- Work across departments to ensure social media strategy reflects goals and messaging of various teams.
- Be responsible for increasing followers on all social platforms.
- Actively monitor social media activity forus, partners, competitors, and industry associations.
- Promptly respond to reviews across all platforms to build positive brand sentiment and reputation.
- Quickly adapt communication strategies to match audiences, trends, and formats of various social media platforms.
- Actively engage with followers and contribute to conversations, questions, and comments across platforms.
- Coordinate outreach and collaborations with external partners, industry associations, and customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or relevant experience in the field.
- (Required) 3+ years of corporate or agency experience managing or coordinating a national / global social media program.
- (Required) Expertise managing a company or agency’s social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and Twitter.
- (Required) Have experience using social media scheduling and content management platforms such as Agorapulse, Sprout Social, or Hootsuite in a corporate or agency setting.
- An understanding of metrics, tracking, and attribution related to social media engagement.
- Experience handling customer relationship issues on public-facing channels.
- An ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent English skills: writing and grammar skills, speaking and listening.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- An understanding of metrics, tracking, and attribution related to social media engagement.
