Matchtech are working with a key client to support the recruitment of a Site Manager to work with a key railway client in Madrid, Spain on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Project Manager.

Job Overview

To provide the coordination of workers, subcontractors, and suppliers, as well as managing safety, quality control, and logistics.

Site Managers must be knowledgeable about construction practices, project management, and safety requirements. They must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work well under pressure. A strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks are also important qualities for a Site Manager to possess.

Responsibilities and Duties

As the Site Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Oversee construction projects from start to finish
• Manage project timelines and schedules
• Ensure projects are completed within budget
• Hire and supervise subcontractors and construction workers
• Manage communication between project stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
• Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records
• Secure necessary permits and approvals
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks

Experience and Education Requirements

The Site Manager will have practical experience working in the construction industry, either in a hands-on role or in some sort of management or supervisory position.
