Our client is a company specializing in managing large-scale sporting events, offering services like ticketing, accommodation, hospitality, transportation, and IT solutions. The company values precision and adaptability, as it handles complex operations across global sports events.

ROLE

Our client is seeking a Senior Software Developer, who will be responsible for building, supporting and maintaining public-facing transactional web shops. These applications are focused on e-commerce activity within their suite of Ticketing, Hospitality and Accommodation verticals.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

• Umbraco v.7, v.8, v.9 – v.16 (must have ongoing experience).
• Understanding of Razor and C#.
• Understanding of programming best practices, such as SOLID, DRY, KISS, linting, and unit testing.
• Proficiency in navigating coding integrated development environments such as Visual Studio 2022, Visual Studio Code, or JetBrains Rider.
• Real-world experience in extending Umbraco BackOffice, including property editors, Surface Controllers, API Controllers, Authorized Controllers, Render Controllers, Model Builder, Examine Indexing, etc.
• Google Analytics/Tag Manager tagging and implementation.
• Experience with Salesforce integration (nice to have).
• Accustomed to working in English
• Arabic as an additional language is a distinct advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Building dynamic and high performance state-of-the-art transactional websites for the world’s biggest sporting events.
• Optimizing performance and improving the scalability of our systems.
• Encouraging code review to ensure the maintenance of high-quality code.
• Investigating issues to eliminate future problems and fix inconsistencies.
