The Role

The company seeks to add a Senior Sales Executive (future Chief Sales Officer), reporting to the CEO, to accelerate growth in the European data storage and protection market, starting with Iberia.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical and commercial knowledge of the sector and an active network among IT managers and data protection managers. They will design and execute a commercial strategy to meet targets in turnover and key account penetration, focusing on large accounts and the medium market.

This role offers a dynamic, agile environment with significant autonomy, supported by a highly qualified technical and pre-sales team.

The candidate must have extensive sales experience, with a strong focus on acquiring new customers (hunter mindset), and be comfortable with consultative sales to senior managers in technology, security, and compliance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing, focusing on new customer acquisition for the multicloud data storage and protection platform.
  • Develop and maintain a quality sales pipeline through prospecting, partner referrals, and market intelligence.
  • Use value-based storytelling, business cases, ROI analysis, customer references, and analyst opinions to position the solution as the preferred option.
  • Drive and close new opportunities, especially in mid-market accounts, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide reliable forecasts to ensure predictable revenue.

Candidate Profile

  • Technical or higher education in telecommunications, IT, or engineering is desirable.
  • A postgraduate master's degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in B2B sales of high-value services.
  • Experience in technology companies, vendors, or integrators related to security, storage, and data protection.
  • Proven experience in hunting and attracting new customers.
  • Experience managing full sales cycles, including cold calling, presentations, PoC/demos, negotiations, and closing.
  • Comfortable managing medium/long sales cycles with management-level contacts such as CIOs, CTOs, CSOs.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools.
  • Languages: fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is highly valued.
