The Core Platform is central to Dynatrace, supporting various product functions such as storing and analyzing observability data. It also provides the frameworks used to develop different Dynatrace applications. The Application Development area within the core platform manages frameworks and tools like the Strato Design System, Dynatrace App Toolkit, SDK for TypeScript, and VS Code Extension.

You’ll be responsible for:

• In the Application Development domain, taking ownership of the Data Visualization component within our Strato Design System.
• Driving innovative core product capabilities with a focus on hyperscale and high performance.
• Owning the functional and use case-based aspects of the product roadmap, representing the end-user perspective, and seeking innovative solutions by understanding the WHY behind user needs and pain points.
• Participating in defining the product roadmap and shaping near-term and long-term product strategies as part of a larger team.
• Collaborating with agile R&D teams to deliver impactful product features that delight customers and create measurable value.
• Managing cross-functional initiatives with customer support to excel in support scenarios, prevent escalations, and ensure smooth operations.
• Partnering with product marketing to craft targeted messaging, define go-to-market strategies, and enable the sales team.

What will help you succeed

• 5+ years of product management experience, with proven success in setting and executing product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends.
• Strong technical understanding, ideally with experience as a web application developer.
• Extensive experience in creating data visualizations, including charts and dashboards, to communicate complex insights effectively.
• Knowledge of user experience principles that enhance customer engagement with applications.
• A passion for design and aesthetics, aiming to deliver not just features but compelling user experiences.
• Collaboration skills working with lead architects and engineers.
• Stakeholder management skills to drive product success.
• An entrepreneurial mindset to align business goals with product strategy and translate it into tangible business impact.
• The ability to think big while breaking down initiatives into manageable components and building high-level roadmaps.
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability, excellent communication skills, and a bias for action.
• Willingness to travel (< 15%).

Compensation and Rewards

We offer attractive compensation packages and stock options, along with numerous benefits.

For legal reasons, the minimum salary for this position is €70,000 per year (full-time). We offer a higher salary based on your qualifications and experience.
