We are seeking an experienced and visionary Sr. Director, Marketing to join nVent and lead marketing for our EMEA region. Reporting to the President, EMEA & APAC, and the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for crafting and executing marketing strategies, transformation initiatives, planning, and campaign activation efforts to build the nVent brand, expand our market reach, and contribute to business segment growth.

This role will collaborate closely with global marketing segment leads to oversee all aspects of our business segment's marketing efforts, including regional insights and analysis, demand generation, awareness and conversion activities, campaign and content strategy, channel marketing, marketing operations, digital enablement, media activities, and elevating our industrial marketing capabilities. The role will also partner with enterprise marketing teams to ensure alignment with brand, communications, PR, events, marketing technology, insights, customer experience, and shared channel activations.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION :

  • Provide input and expertise to global marketing plans, aligning with business objectives.
  • Lead marketing strategies in EMEA to ensure customer engagement and solution success.
  • Enhance awareness and consideration of nVent solutions through coordinated campaigns and communications.
  • Generate, score, and route marketing-qualified leads in collaboration with sales to meet growth targets.
  • Utilize market research to identify trends, define strategies, and translate insights into actions.
  • Manage product branding efforts in EMEA, ensuring consistency with the nVent brand.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering modern capabilities and growth.
  • Collaborate with segment, enterprise, and marketing teams for alignment.
  • Manage regional marketing budget for high-impact campaigns.
  • Evaluate marketing performance and ROI.

YOU HAVE :

  • 12+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Success in implementing marketing strategies across multiple EMEA countries and enhancing brand reputation.
  • Deep understanding of modern marketing practices and team development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in a second language is a plus.
  • Strong skills in talent assessment, change management, and project management.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with global and regional leaders.
  • Willingness to travel up to 35%.
