Job mission:
  • The Senior Manager of Brand & Communications is responsible for leading the end-to-end brand and communication strategy in Spain, acting as the custodian of corporate reputation and a key driver of commercial growth.
  • Your responsibility goes beyond traditional communication: we are looking for a professional capable of transforming data and insights into powerful narratives. You will oversee orchestrating Kia’s voice across all channels (Paid, Owned, Earned), ensuring that every euro invested not only builds brand equity but also delivers measurable contributions to business objectives—traffic, lead generation, sales, and customer loyalty.
Your responsibilities:
  • Define the annual Brand Plan by translating the global strategy into the local reality, leveraging attribution models and data analysis to determine the optimal media mix.
  • Evolve brand management from intuition to evidence: integrate consumer insights (VoC), market trends, and business metrics to inform creative and positioning decisions.
  • Ensure consistency of the “Electrification and Design” narrative across an omnichannel environment, connecting upper-funnel awareness with tactical performance.
  • Oversee the agency ecosystem (Creative, Media, Digital), demanding not only creative excellence but also cost efficiency and ROI.
  • Drive innovation in formats and channels, applying entrepreneurial methodologies (test & learn, rapid campaign prototyping) to accelerate go-to-market agility.
  • Lead the Communication strategy, managing relationships with key media outlets to maximize organic coverage and share of voice.
  • Translate the brand strategy into the physical point of sale, equipping the dealer network with playbooks and tools to deliver a premium and consistent customer experience.
  • Coordinate product launches and experiential events that generate qualified showroom traffic.
  • Manage a significant marketing budget with a P&L mindset: every action must have a clear KPI (Brand Lift, Cost per Lead, CAC, Visits).
  • Establish executive dashboards to report communication impact to the Management Committee and European HQ (Frankfurt).
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team (Digital, Brand, etc.), fostering a high-performance culture and psychological safety.
  • Act as an internal coach, enhancing team capabilities in new methodologies (Agile Marketing, OKRs) and digital tools.
  • Break down silos: collaborate closely with Product, Sales, CX, and After‑Sales to ensure a unified customer vision.
Your talents:
Education
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate education is essential (MBA or master’s in marketing management).
  • Preferred: Additional training or certifications in Innovation, Corporate Entrepreneurship, or Agile Methodologies (e.g., Design Thinking, Lean Startup) applied to corporate management.
Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Marketing and Communications, including 5+ years leading large teams and budgets.
  • Automotive experience is highly valued.
  • Proven track record in change management, including brand transformations, rebranding, or digitalization of commercial processes.
  • Strong ability to drive strategic vision and customer‑centric approaches across matrix organizations.
  • Expertise in budget governance and ROI‑driven decision‑making.
