A global leader in automotive technology, ZF Group, is seeking a Senior Logistics Professional to oversee strategic and operational logistics functions at their Madrid center. You will manage production planning, implement improvement measures, and ensure high-quality distribution, requiring proven logistics experience and strong educational background.

Formación

• At least 5 years of logistic experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
• Knowledge of modern Distribution Center management.

Job Description

Depending on ZF CVS Logistic Leader, in the position of Senior Logistics Professional, you are responsible for the support of Spain Logistic Leader in all strategic and operational aspects of Madrid center, highly focusing on intralogistics, current customer requirements and plan material availability and production on the basis of real customer orders, with the inspiration to achieve excellence in quality when it comes to distribution activities.

What you can look forward to as Senior Logistics Professional :

• Production planning and control based on customer requirements
• MRP Planning and procurement at senior level
• Creation of the logistics forecast for medium and long-term capacity planning at the supplier as well as monitoring and analysis of supplier performance
• Logistics KPI control, reporting and meetings preparation and participation
• Customer delivery and control transportation
• Independently initiate improvement measures in the event of supply chain disruptions
• Inventory management based on logistical parameters and independent introduction of improvement measures in the event of inventory deviations

Your profile as Senior Logistics Professional :

• Engineering degree preferred, ideally with a major in logistics or business
• Knowledge of modern Distribution Center management
• At least 5 years of logistic experience gained with relevant and proven skills, preferably in automotive industry (Original Equipment manufacturers and Aftermarket)
• SAP MM expert (ideally SD) and warehouse management systems
• Good MS Office knowledge, MS Excel at expert level, macros running is an advantage
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methods (ideally Green-Belt level) as well as LEAN management methods
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish. Knowledge of any other European language is considered as a plus
