• Strong experience with Java is essential for the role.
• Experience in migrations from Java 8 to Java 17 is required.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols is a plus.

What you will bring

• Strong experience with Java
• Experience in migrations between major versions
• Nice to have: Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP and serial communication protocols and background working with embedded or low-level systems on Linux
• Familiarity with HTML and basic web configuration environments

You will be responsible

For analyzing and migrating a complex legacy codebase from Java 8 to Java 17, updating critical dependencies and refactoring key components to ensure stability and compatibility. You will validate changes on embedded Linux environments, collaborate in code reviews, and apply best practices while supporting minor adjustments in a basic HTML configuration interface.
