Formación

• Minimum 1 year experience as a groups/wedding coordinator in 4/5 star hotels.
• Advanced Spanish and English level (C1); other languages valued.
• Organised in administrative tasks.

Overview

Due to our upcoming opening of Gran Hotel Taoro, 5 luxury hotel in Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife), and as part of the ongoing expansion of the hotel portfolio at Abama Resort, we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic candiate to take on the Senior Group & Wedding Coordinator position within our cluster sales structure.

Gran Hotel Taoro en Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife) está en apertura y, como parte de la expansión del portfolio de hoteles de Abama Resort, seleccionamos un/ a coordinador/a de grupos y bodas para formar parte de nuestra estructura de ventas en cluster.

Responsibilities

• Core work responsabilities
• Responsible for receiving and responding appropriately to all incoming leads from groups, weddings or special events.
• Quote all leads (both MICE and Weddings) with the support and close collaboration of the Revenue Director and Sales Manager MICE.
• Block all information in the appropiate systems.
• Supporting the Sales Manager MICE in production reports.
• Organise site visits and fam trips, communicate internally, and participate as needed.
• Hand-over of all confirmed groups to the operation.
• For weddings and special events, he / she will be point of contact during the entire event.
• Develop relationships with Wedding Planners.
• Support in prospecting of new accounts in both the MICE and Wedding segments.
• Keeping databases up to date

Qualifications (English)

• Minimum 1 year experience as a groups / wedding coordinator in 4 / 5 hotels.
• Advanced Spanish and English level (C1), other languages will be valued.
• Positive attitude, proactivity, collaboration and teamwork.
• Familiar in usage of computer systems.
• Communicate clearly and effectively.
• Organised in admin tasks.
