A women's audio streaming platform is seeking an experienced software developer to oversee platform maintenance, design, and scaling. You will implement new features using technologies like Elixir, Ruby, and TypeScript, while collaborating closely with the CTO and other teams. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in software development, ideally in a startup environment. This role offers flexible working conditions with the option to work remotely or from the Berlin office.

Formación

  • 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in a startup.

Your mission:

With +1.5M users and +170M audio plays, you are crucial to the maintenance, design and scaling of our platform. You have full ownership across all our platform and work closely with our CTO to deliver new features and provide solid tech solutions.

Your responsibilities
  • Implement new features across all our stack, from the backend to the frontend.
    • Elixir, Ruby, Typescript + (React|Nextjs). High 90s % coverage on all projects.
  • Maintain, design and scale our platform.
    • Our platform is on AWS, based on EKS and served via Netlify.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Product squads.
    • Be crucial to the decision and implementation of features that support our business goals.
  • Report directly to the CTO, challenge the status quo, and work together in defining the future of our platform.
Role specific requirements
  • You have 5 years of experience in software development, ideally within a startup / high growth setup.
  • You have worked in the backend, frontend and have solid understanding of each one.
  • Extended experience on cloud environments, K8s, DevOps, monitoring, observability.
  • User-centric mindset with understanding of business metrics.
  • Fluent in English.
