Job Title : Senior Frontend Engineer / Front-End Tech Lead

Duration : 12 months contract

Location : 100% remote (EU)

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Lead and mentor a small front-end development team, currently comprising junior developers based in the US.
• Take ownership of project requirements, translating them into actionable tasks and effectively communicating them to the team.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Develop full applications from scratch, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Implement and advocate for best practices in UI / UX design, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
• Integrate AI tools such as Cursor, Bolt, and ChatGPT into the development workflow to enhance efficiency and output.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
• Demonstrate resilience under pressure, effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in front-end development, with a proven track record of technical leadership.
• Strong experience in leading and mentoring development teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Tools and Technologies :

• Proficiency in Next.js 14+ for building server-rendered React applications.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript for developing robust and type-safe applications.
• Extensive experience with Tailwind CSS for creating responsive and visually appealing designs (experience with Shadcn is a bonus).
• Familiarity with AI tools like Cursor, Bolt, and ChatGPT for enhancing development workflows.
