A leading electronics company in Barcelona is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to architect and develop firmware for charging systems. The ideal candidate has experience with DC fast charge controllers and proficiency in C/C++. This is a permanent onsite position aimed at integrating firmware within various charging infrastructures.

Formación

• Experience with DC fast charge controllers and/or DC chargers compatible with public charging networks.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
• Knowledge of PCB design and assembly processes.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and develop firmware for charging systems.
• Code, integrate, test, and ship firmware updates.
• Maintain firmware and collaborate with other teams.

Conocimientos

Experience with DC fast charge controllers

Proficiency in C and C++

Knowledge of Embedded OS

Overview

Senior Firmware Engineer - Charging - Barcelona - ONSITE

For one of our clients in Barcelona, we are looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer (Charging) to join the team responsible for architecting, coding, integra tion, testing, shipping and maintenance of the firmware that enables charging, both with proprietary chargers but also public DC chargers.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop firmware for charging systems, including proprietary chargers and public DC charging infrastructure
• Code, integrate, test, and ship firmware updates
• Maintain firmware and collaborate with hardware, software, and QA teams
• Support ongoing integration with charging networks and devices

Qualifications

• Experience with DC fast charge controllers and/or DC chargers compatible with public charging networks
• Knowledge of Embedded OS, RTOS, complex SOCs, Android and iOS
• Proficiency in C and C++
• Experience with CAN bus, SPI, i2C
• Knowledge of PCB design, PCB assembly process, prototyping, etc.
