A digital transformation company is looking for an experienced Application Security professional to enhance its security across the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in Application Security, extensive knowledge of web and mobile security frameworks, and practical experience with code analysis tools. This position offers a hybrid working model with flexible remote options in Málaga or Madrid, Spain.

Formación

• Experience with secure software development practices and DevSecOps methodologies.

Overview

As a pioneer in digital transformation, we are seeking a seasoned Application Security professional to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in strengthening our security posture across the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of web and mobile application security principles, with hands-on experience in conducting security assessments, performing code reviews, and penetration testing.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen security posture across the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct security assessments, perform code reviews, and perform penetration testing as required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Application Security, AppSec, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of web and mobile application security frameworks (OWASP Top 10, CWE, SANS).
• Hands-on experience with static / dynamic code analysis tools, such as Burp Suite or ZAP.
• Familiarity with secure software development practices (SDLC) and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Experience with CI / CD environments and integrating security tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab.
• Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar languages).
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms.
