I’m working with a fast-growing cyber security vendor looking for a Spanish‑speaking Sales Engineer to support their expansion across Europe.
What you’ll do
- Support deployment of the solution in customer environments, focusing on Microsoft-based infrastructures (networking, AD, security).
- Translate risk and cybersecurity concepts into clear, value-focused messaging for prospects and customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
- Deliver remote demos and proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements in Spanish and in English, troubleshoot installation issues, and guide customers through implementation.
- Keep customer and PoC notes up to date, capture technical requirements, and feed implementation learnings back into internal processes.
- Work with customers to configure servers (virtual / physical), network settings, and relevant integrations to ensure optimal performance of the solution.
- Provide technical enablement to customers, partners, and internal teams, including ad‑hoc knowledge sharing and participation in events or shows when needed.
- Assist in resolving critical deployment or production issues, coordinating with the wider engineering team to ensure swift, customer-focused outcomes.
- Partner closely with regional sales pre‑ and post‑sales engineering, customer success, and C‑level stakeholders to drive new business and renewals.
What they are looking for
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience as an IT administrator / systems engineer or in a similar technical role.
- Any relevant Microsoft, networking, or cybersecurity certifications are a plus but not essential.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft environments (Windows Server, networking, Active Directory), experience configuring networks, firewalls and security controls, and confidence deploying and supporting virtual servers in on‑prem and / or cloud‑hosted infrastructures.
- Fluent Spanish (spoken and written) with strong English skills; French is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, customer‑facing confidence (demos, PoCs, events), and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setup while collaborating closely with sales and customer success teams.
