The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy and work in a team dedicated to creating a future where innovative digital technologies allow greater access to cleaner energy.

As an R&D Engineer, you will join our South Europe Technology Center in Zaragoza, leading continuous research and development activities on transformers. You will contribute to the development of projects related to the mechanical performance of dry transformers.

As part of a highly skilled Technology Center and the global Hitachi Energy R&D community, you will run projects and contribute to the successful roadmap execution. To excel in this role, you need initiative, creativity, and great attention to detail. You will learn and grow by collaborating with experts and contributing to impactful projects.

Responsibilities

• Programming and usage of automated acquisition systems.
• Design of acquisition hardware and digital signal processing stages.
• Analysis of high-frequency equivalent circuits.
• Reporting and documentation management.
• Provide technical support to factories, salespeople, and customers.

Your background

• MSc in Electronic, Electrical, or Telecommunication Engineering.
• Experience in the usage of EDA/ECAD tools, especially LTSpice, Altium and KiCad. Knowledge of ATP-EMTP is valued.
• Experience with Matlab.
• Knowledge of EMC and high-speed design is valued.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Collaborative and solution-oriented approach.
