Formación

We now have an opportunity for a Quality Engineer role within the Corporate Quality function, reporting directly to the Corporate Quality Manager Europe.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Central Quality team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting Quality Systems Development for Europe and the deployment of Global Quality initiatives and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Development and Support
  2. Support BU teams in improving quality performance and troubleshooting.
  3. Proactively review quality planning and specifications for new processes, machines, or products to eliminate or minimize potential problems.
  4. Assist BU teams with Q-Auto and SAP QM systems.
  5. Follow up on process and product capabilities across sites.
  6. Develop and maintain the PRAM database for implementing new standards in Europe.
  7. Train QA managers on new standards.
  8. Manage and follow up on corporate quality training to enhance quality skills within sites.
  9. Develop problem-solving expertise within site quality teams.
  10. Conduct workshops with QA managers to develop European standards.
  11. Produce and analyze weekly and monthly quality reports, providing recommendations for performance improvement.
  12. Support operations in fostering a POP culture.

Internal & External Auditing

  1. Plan and ensure completion and follow-up of corporate audits across European sites.
  2. Support BU’s with key customer audits to ensure consistency.
  3. Audit material and equipment suppliers to identify risks and promote improvements.
  4. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, BRC, ISO 22000, AIB, and Recyclass certifications across all locations.
  5. Collaborate with the Central Purchasing Team to track supplier performance and produce quarterly scorecards with action plans.
  6. Assist in the approval process for new suppliers, including specifications, quality, food safety systems, and audits.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Plastic/Polymer materials, additives, colorants, and processing techniques such as injection, blowing, extrusion, and recycling.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Knowledge of Quality Management standards (ISO 9000:2015, BRC) – Basic
  • Risk Management (FMEA, HACCP) – Basic
  • Other Quality Techniques (process flowcharts, Ishikawa, Pareto, internal audits) – Average
  • Project Management – Basic
  • Equipment calibration – Basic
  • Statistics and 8D Problem Solving Method
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Team player with strong problem-solving abilities

Education: University degree with specific qualification in Quality & Operational Management.

Work Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in operational and quality management roles.

The role location is flexible, with an expected travel requirement of approximately 50%.
