A leading staffing agency in Barcelona is seeking a Production Technician to operate and maintain equipment in the clean room environment for IVD product manufacturing. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or relevant FP education, and experience in a similar sector, particularly with medical devices. This role involves ensuring compliance with documented procedures and conducting in-process controls.

Formación

  • Work experience in a similar sector, ideally in medical devices.
  • Familiarity with cGMP manufacturing requirements.
  • Experience in machining, sheet metal welding, and assembly.

Responsabilidades

  • Operate and maintain ISO Classified clean rooms and equipment.
  • Conduct In-Process Controls to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Ensure compliance with documented procedures and accurate documentation.

Conocimientos

The Production Technician is part of the Operations Department.

The role is responsible for operating equipment in the manufacturing of IVD products as well as tools used for the manufacturing process of the product. The job also involves reporting incidents and support solving them together with the engineering team.

The position involves operating pipettors, pneumatic and hydraulic presses, furnaces, ovens, electronic testers, high vacuum chambers, optical measurement systems, sealers, and dispensing systems. The work is performed in a clean room environment.

Functions
  • Operate, maintain, and clean ISO Classified clean rooms and related equipment in accordance with SOPs.
  • Perform routine monitoring / cleaning required in the Clean Rooms and / or other production environments.
  • Planning, execution, and documentation of work orders and experiments
  • Organization and maintenance of laboratory infrastructure.
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by following assembly instructions and specifications.
  • Conduct In-Process-Controls to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Control and adjust basic machine settings within established or qualified ranges.
  • Assembly and testing of medical products and related packaging.
  • Ensure compliance with documented procedures. Accurate documentation and ownership of work completed.
  • Support setup and routinely use multiple automated and manual assembly equipment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma degree, or specific FP education in mechanics and / or electronics.
  • Work experience in a similar sector (ideally previous experience within medical devices domain).
  • Experience and consent with working in a cleanroom environment with extensive gowning requirements.
  • Ability to read, understand and follow all company SOPs and guidelines provided in English language.
  • Ideally experience with manufacturing in accordance with cGMP requirements.
  • Fabrication knowledge including machining, sheet metal welding and assembly of machine elements.
  • Experience within manufacturing / production environment and automation processes.
  • Passion for working as a team player in a rapidly developing start-up company with ambitious goals.
