Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled professional Product Owner to join our team who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders, technical experts and regulatory bodies. The focus is on making a data transition from DTT Systems toward the Big Data Platform ODE. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills in German, excellent knowledge of data systems and proven experience in Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a primary point of contact for German-language communication including with the workers council ensuring clear and accurate exchanges.
• Coordinate and document project activities in Jira including backlog refinement, sprint planning and progress tracking.
• Understand and analyze data systems including data flows, structures and types with the ability to support implementation discussions and challenge technical solutions if necessary.
• Support Agile ceremonies and ensure alignment to frameworks such as Scrum, helping the team adopt best practices.
• Make sound and timely decisions especially when balancing competing priorities. Identify trade-offs, apply data-driven thinking and engage stakeholders in prioritization processes.

Qualifications

• Fluency in German (spoken and written) is essential.
• Strong experience with modern data systems, data flows and related technologies; development background is a plus.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar tools for Agile project management.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe or similar) preferably with practical implementation experience.
• Strong decision-making and prioritization skills including handling complex trade-offs under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
