A leading technology firm in Spain is looking for a Principal QA Engineer to apply technical and leadership skills in ensuring quality and reliability of platform components. Principal QA Engineer
You’ll apply your technical, problem-solving, and leadership skills to ensure the quality and reliability of platform components. You’ll collaborate across teams and contribute to continuous improvement in QA practices.
Demonstrate expertise in QA methodology, tools, environments, and automation solutions.
Analyze, write, and carry out test standards and procedures for complex or cross-functional solutions.
Document and investigate defects, recommend corrective actions, and support root cause analysis.
Guide and mentor QA Engineers, Software Development Engineers, and Product Definition Analysts in quality assurance practices.
Participate in QA community events and contribute to technical knowledge sharing and innovation.
Experience in manual and automated testing across functional, performance, and security domains, with familiarity in testing frameworks and automation tools.
Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a data-driven approach to quality improvement and risk mitigation.
Experience guiding QA teams, collaborating across development and product teams, and promoting process improvements and automation adoption.
