A technology company based near Barcelona is seeking a Pre-sales (MEP) expert to lead technical validation and support sales activities in liquid cooling. The ideal candidate should have over 10 years in technical sales for MEP data center projects, a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, and strong knowledge in cooling and power systems. This role offers an attractive compensation package and a flexible hybrid work model.

Becoming a Subject Matter Expert in Liquid Cooling for complex technical projects, supporting pre-sales activities and acting as a key bridge between Submer’s internal teams and customers. Working closely with the Sales team, the role involves engaging customers and recommending Submer’s solutions within the MEP environment of data centers.
Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Liquid Cooling for technically complex projects and tenders.
Provide technical validation and qualification of opportunities following standard procedures.
Work closely with the Europe Sales Team, building trusted technical relationships with customers.
Actively support sales teams throughout the deal cycle, acting as the technical reference point.
Drive and maintain strong technical relationships with customers during the sales process.
Create and develop technical and commercial proposals tailored to customer requirements.
Review, validate, and perform preliminary designs for the integration of SUBMER solutions within the customer’s MEP infrastructure during the pre‑sales phase.
+ 10 years in pre‑sales / technical sales for MEP Data Center projects (HPC / MW scale).
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; strong Data Center infrastructure knowledge (certifications a plus).
Experience preparing technical‑commercial proposals.
Strong knowledge of cooling and power systems (mandatory).
Project management and DC IT knowledge are a plus.
Fluent in English.
Autonomy & adaptability: Able to work independently in dynamic, changing environment.
Communication & leadership: Strong communication, organization, presentation, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.
Project management: Previous project management experience is a strong advantage.
