A leading semiconductor company in Barcelona is seeking a Packaging Engineer to advance simulation methodologies across its diverse product catalog. The role focuses on conducting FEA simulations and collaborating with global teams to enhance the reliability and efficiency of packaging technologies. Ideal candidates should have a Master's degree in a relevant field, strong thermal physics understanding, and experience with FEA tools. This position requires being onsite five days a week.

Formación

• Masters or Ph.D. degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience in packaging engineering or reliability engineering.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a global setting.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct thermal, mechanical, and thermo-mechanical simulations.
• Develop simulation methodologies to enhance accuracy and speed.
• Support business units with mechanical engineering expertise.
• Identify quality risks and propose effective solutions.
• Optimize model size to reduce simulation cycle times.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
