A growing coffee brand in Valencia seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the café's daily operations and financial performance while establishing scalable systems for future locations. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in hospitality and operations, with a keen understanding of P&L metrics. This role offers a clear path to senior leadership or a co-founder position, and requires hands-on management skills to effectively lead a small team while driving operational excellence.

About YOUNG Coffee

Young Coffee is one of our ventures within YOUNG. We are launching our first flagship café in Valencia, designed to become the operational blueprint for a scalable, high‑standard coffee brand. This first location is where we define how Young Coffee is run, so it can later be replicated across 30+ locations.

About The Role

This role sits between operations and business.

You will run the café day‑to‑day while building the operational and financial foundations that allow Young Coffee to scale. You are hands‑on in operations, close to customers, staff, suppliers and numbers with the responsibility to turn daily reality into clear systems, standards and blueprints.

In the short term, you will be operationally involved alongside one Café Host.

In the medium term, you will own the café’s operations and P&L.

In the long term, this role can evolve into a key leadership or co‑founder position.

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Leadership
  • Lead the daily operation of the café and support the Café Host
  • Ensure opening / closing, service flow and routines meet Young Coffee standards
  • Step into operations when needed (service, prep, hosting)
  • Set a calm, structured and high‑standard working culture
Systems & Process Building
  • Document operations into clear checklists, routines and SOPs
  • Define the “Young Coffee way” of running a café
  • Continuously improve processes to increase consistency and reduce dependency on individuals
Business, P&L & Suppliers
  • Own and monitor the café’s P&L
  • Track costs, margins, labor efficiency and profitability
  • Manage suppliers, inventory and purchasing
  • Build simple, scalable systems for future locations
Scaling Preparation
  • Turn the Valencia café into the blueprint for future openings
  • Identify what works, what doesn’t and what must change before scaling
  • Collaborate with YOUNG Holding on replication and expansion

  • Experience in hospitality, retail or operations‑driven businesses
  • Strong understanding of operations, costs and P&L
  • Comfortable being hands‑on today to build something bigger tomorrow
  • Structured, reliable and calm under pressure
  • Systems‑oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Based in Valencia and available on‑site
  • Coffee experience is a plus, operational and business thinking matter more.
