A leading mobility technology company in Valladolid is seeking an NVH specialist for their Powertrain Performance department. You will monitor and evaluate NVH performance, lead development convergence for hybrid and gasoline powertrains, and ensure cost-related initiatives maintain performance levels. The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree, 3-5 years of experience in powertrain calibration or NVH, and a good command of English. Master’s degree and experiences in extracurricular activities like Formula Student are appreciated.

  • Experience in NVH specialist role expected.
  • Driving license is needed.

AVL is the world's largest independent company for the development, simulation and testing of powertrain systems (hybrid, combustion engine, transmission, electric drive, batteries, fuel cell and control technology) for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, construction, large engines and their integration into the vehicle.

AVL is searching for candidates with a sound background in NVH to work within the facilities of a major customer in Valladolid, integrating the powertrain performance team we have on-site.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The NVH (noise, vibration & harshness) specialist in the Powertrain Performance department is responsible for:

  • Monitor, evaluate and provide final opinion in NVH
  • Lead the convergence of the development of hybrid/gasoline powertrains in NVH specialty.
  • In serial-life, ensure that cost reduction initiatives do not risk the powertrain performance level (NVH related)

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Engineering degree or similar. Master degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in PWT calibration (or related topics)
  • Experienced in powertrain NVH
  • Good English level. French is a plus.
  • High sense of responsibility, goal‑orientation and teamwork skills.
  • Extra‑curriculum activities like Formula Student are a plus.
  • Matlab knowledge is desirable.
  • Driving license is needed.
