A global technology services provider is seeking a Senior Nutanix Specialist to join their Technology Services team in Madrid. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing hyperconverged infrastructure solutions using Nutanix technology. Candidates should have solid experience in virtualization and a university degree in a related field, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Formación

• Strong expertise in Nutanix technologies including AOS and AHV.
• Experience with hypervisors and solid understanding of virtual networking.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HCI environments.

Responsabilidades

The role

Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Nutanix Specialist to join our Technology Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing hyperconverged infrastructure solutions using Nutanix technology. You will play a key role in technology transformation projects, workload migrations, and operations automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy hyperconverged infrastructures using Nutanix AOS, AHV, Prism, Files, Calm, and other related tools.
• Manage virtualized environments and coordinate migrations from traditional platforms to Nutanix.
• Automate tasks using Calm, Terraform, Ansible, or Nutanix API.
• Perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, and handle complex incident management.
• Document architectures, create operational manuals, and lead performance and recovery testing.
• Collaborate with vendor support teams for advanced issue resolution.
• Ensure service quality following established project methodologies.

Career Level:

• Experienced professional with an advanced background in hyperconverged and virtualized environments.
• Technical leadership role in transformation and migration projects.
• Works independently with accountability for design, documentation, and delivery of complex solutions.
• Acts as a technical reference within the team and supports the development of junior profiles.

What we need to see from you

Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in Nutanix technologies: AOS, AHV, Prism Central/Element, Files, Flow, Calm.
• Experience with hypervisors such as AHV, VMware ESXi, or Hyper‑V.
• Solid understanding of virtual networking (VLAN, VXLAN) and storage protocols (NFS, SMB, iSCSI).
• Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Nutanix API.
• Knowledge of public cloud integration (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions (Veeam, HYCU) is a plus.
• Familiarity with VMware and multicloud environments.
• Understanding of virtualization security fundamentals.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to document technical solutions and produce high‑level designs.
• Customer‑oriented mindset, initiative, and effective communication with both technical and business stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

• University degree in Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure, virtualization, or HCI environments.
• Preferred certifications: Nutanix NCP/NCM, VMware VCP, Microsoft Azure, or AWS Fundamentals.
