The role involves engineering mechanical design within project teams, developing line diagrams, and 3D modelling using Revit. Mechanical Engineer - Data Centres - Malaga, Spain

We are currently partnering with a leading global consulting and engineering company that are looking for experienced data centre professionals to join their team. Our client is working with many major developers in the data centre space and require a Mechanical Engineer for their Malaga, Spain location.

Our client offers strategic, tactical, and operational advice to a variety of entities, including colocation data centres, internet service providers, and telecom companies. Their team is composed of experts in diverse fields such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, civil engineering, structure, building, architecture, fire safety, control engineering, and security technology.

Responsibilities

• Engineering the mechanical design in project teams under the guidance of the Lead Engineer
• Develop line diagrams of the mechanical installation and coordinate with other disciplines for the initial space reservations
• Modelling the mechanical installation in 3D Revit / BIM based on the diagrams and coordinated space reservations
• Implement your knowledge based on functionality, mountability, accessibility and maintainability into the model to ensure that the contractor can build it according to our client’s model, without revising it

Requirements

• A bachelor and / or master degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 2 years relevant work experience
• Experience with Revit and integrated design
• Good command of English and the language local to your office
