Are you a machine learning engineer with a passion for building AI-driven solutions? Nieve Consulting Services, a Nordic software consultancy specializing in generative AI and agentic workflows, is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing AI team in Málaga. You'll work closely with CTO Daniel Arroyo and contribute to cutting-edge projects that transform industries with AI-powered solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, fine-tune, and deploy generative AI models (e.g., LLaMA, Falcon) for real-world applications.
• Build and optimize AI-powered applications, working with Python, PyTorch, and cloud-based infrastructures.
• Implement MLOps best practices, ensuring scalable and maintainable AI deployments in AWS, Kubernetes, or similar environments.
• Work with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques.
• Develop AI-driven data pipelines, integrating diverse data sources.
• Collaborate with AI consultants and full-stack developers to build AI-powered products and solutions.
• Develop agentic workflows using the latest models.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in machine learning & AI development (or equivalent expertise in AI projects).
• Proven experience with tabular and unstructured data analysis and modeling. Time series forecasting experience is a plus.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures.
• Familiarity with AI models and embeddings.
• Experience working with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow or langflow.
• Familiarity with LangChain, Microsoft Guidance, or similar frameworks for AI workflow automation.
• Proficiency in data engineering concepts, SQL / NoSQL databases, and ETL processes.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
• Professional English skills (our clients are global).

Bonus Skills

• Experience working with e-commerce, fintech, maritime, or industrial AI applications.
• Contributions to open-source AI projects or publications in AI / ML research.
• AI Application or feature development using Vercel’s AI SDK.

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range : EUR 45,000 - 65,000 + Stock Option Potential
