A leading travel technology provider is seeking an experienced legal professional to lead their Commercial Legal matters across Europe. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in a Law Firm or as in-house counsel with a focus on commercial law. Proficiency in English and Spanish is essential, alongside strong interpersonal and communication skills. This role is a pivotal part of a company that is transforming into a global travel services leader, combining legal expertise with business objectives.

Formación

• Minimum 8 - 10 years practice in a Law Firm or as an in-house legal counsel.
• Experience in commercial law practice.
• Business level proficiency in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Lead all Commercial Legal matters in Europe for all business units.
• Interact directly with internal stakeholders such as legal and commercial teams.
• Identify, monitor and advise upon legal risks within the areas of responsibility.
• Coordinate external legal advisors where necessary.

Leading all Commercial Legal matters in Europe or a specific European Region, for all business units, by interacting directly with internal stakeholders (i.e. Legal & GRC team members, commercial teams, tax, finance, etc.) Identifying, monitoring and advising upon legal risks within the areas of responsibility and acting as Legal lead for Strategic Projects across Europe, ensuring effective development of those Projects.

Coordinate and oversee external legal advisors in jurisdictions where specialized expertise is required or where no in-house legal counsel is available, ensuring efficient legal support and alignment with business objectives.
