Team & Projects

The Acceleration team focuses on developing creative, data-driven solutions to grow Rover’s user base and enhance pet care experiences. Projects include building tools for pet sitters, increasing word-of-mouth traffic, engaging pet lovers beyond active search, and partnering with pet-related businesses.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical planning and execution of complex projects
• Provide architectural guidance and uphold high standards
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to develop and ship features
• Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing
• Ensure operational excellence of owned features

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience with web and/or mobile applications
• Proficiency with technologies such as React, React Native, Python, Django
• Experience leading cross-functional projects
• Strong understanding of relational databases
• Passion for automated testing and code quality
