Celestia Technologies Group is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join their talented team, focused on developing cutting-edge scientific measurement systems. Based primarily in Santander, the role may require collaboration in Madrid and working at various customer locations during testing phases. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree and possess strong skills in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C / C++. Formación

• Educated in computer science, aeronautics, or electrical engineering (BSc or higher).
• Good knowledge of software development life cycle and communication protocols.
• Willingness to travel abroad during system testing phases.

Due to the business’s current growth, we are looking for a JUNIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER to join our growing business in Santander, Spain.

You will be part of a software team focused on the development of scientific measurement systems for ground and space applications. Although mainly based in Santander, some work in our facility in Madrid may also be required.

Part of the activity will be carried out on customer sites during system testing phases, so a disposition for traveling abroad is needed.

• Educated in computer science, aeronautics, or electrical engineering (BSc or higher)
• Good knowledge of Python, Java, and C / C++
• Databases (SQL, NoSQL)
• Communication protocols (TCP, Serial)
• Understanding of radiofrequency equipment would be an advantage
• Containers
• Knowledge of RTOS, microprocessors would be an advantage
• Unit testing
• SDLC
• Good team worker, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges
