Reporting to : Legal Counsel Team Lead

Based in : Madrid, Spain

The selected professional will be responsible for supporting the promotion and development of renewable energy projects through contract negotiation, risk management, and effective communication.

What will you do?

• You will support the development and implementation of renewable energy projects, assisting in advancing the company’s objectives in a sustainable energy landscape.
• Your responsibilities will include reviewing and assisting in the negotiation of land agreements, EPCs, O&M contracts, supply agreements, and PPAs, helping to ensure that legal agreements are clear, accurate, and aligned with company interests.
• You will draft legal communications and documentation related to project development, focusing on clarity, precision, and effectiveness.
• In preparing, reviewing, and assisting with guarantees, you will support risk assessment and management to safeguard the company’s interests.
• You will also provide guidance on permitting and administrative matters, helping to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and supporting the smooth progress of projects.

What do we need?

• Degree in Law (Spain licensed lawyer)
• Between 1 - 3 years of previous experience in a law firm or energy-related company; rural-focused real estate companies would work as well.
• Full command of English and Spanish.
