Formación

• Proven experience in backend software engineering, particularly with .NET Core and Entity Framework.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and SQL databases (MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres).
• Knowledge and practical experience with DevOps principles, including CI / CD and Kubernetes.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Work collaboratively in cross-functional agile teams within a DevOps-focused culture.
• Design, implement, deploy, and monitor robust backend applications, and actively participate in pull request reviews.
• Translate business requirements into effective backend solutions by collaborating with colleagues across various divisions of Julius Baer.
• Participate actively in planning and refinement of backend features.
• Work closely with Solution Architects to align backend implementations with Julius Baer’s overall architecture vision.
• Actively engage in Software Engineering communities to share knowledge and assist colleagues.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable backend code according to Julius Baer’s guidelines and standards.

YOUR PROFILE

• Pragmatic, proactive, and open-minded, possessing an entrepreneurial approach.
• Proven experience in backend software engineering, particularly with .NET Core and Entity Framework.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, SQL databases (MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres), and service-oriented architectures.
• Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka and Avro.
• Familiarity with TDD, BDD, and comprehensive automated testing.
• Knowledge and practical experience with DevOps principles, including CI / CD and Kubernetes.
• Enthusiastic about continuous learning and contributing to Julius Baer's technological evolution.
• Effective communicator with very good English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related fields, or relevant work experience.
