We are seeking a dynamic IT Procurement Senior Manager to manage all aspects of IT spend globally. This role is crucial for devising and implementing effective procurement strategies, managing supplier relations, and ensuring cost-effective purchases that align with our company goals and standards.

• The ideal candidate to join our team would be based in Barcelona (Spain). Only candidates currently residing in the city or those with a clear intention to relocate will be considered.

Your tasks

1. Develop and implement an IT procurement strategy aligned with the overall company IT strategy.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable contracts and terms. Continuously seek cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
3. Work closely with various departments to understand and meet their procurement needs.
4. Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and legal standards.
5. Lead and manage procurement projects from conception to completion.
6. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, presenting strategies and results to senior management.
7. Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and execute category strategies and multi-year sourcing plans.

Your profile

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (IT degree is a plus).
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT procurement.
3. Extensive experience in software licensing, IT service contracting, IT outsourcing, and industry-specific negotiation tactics.
4. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills with a self-starting, can-do attitude.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6. Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
