Description

The IT Delivery Manager plays a critical role in aligning technology strategy with business priorities across manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial functions. This position leads a high‑performing team of employees and contractors, driving strategic planning, technical execution, and talent development within a dynamic Agile Fusion Team environment. By translating Global IT objectives into actionable plans, managing vendor relationships and budgets, and fostering innovation through modern technologies and methodologies, the leader ensures scalable, high‑impact solutions that meet customer expectations and enable continuous improvement. The position also champions a culture of curiosity, inclusivity, and growth, while building a robust talent pipeline and promoting Schreiber Foods’ values across all interactions.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Provide input into long‑term technology decisions based on frontline observations and emerging trends.
  • Translate delivery insights into strategic recommendations for IT leadership.
  • Influence prioritization to focus on high‑value, technically achievable outcomes.
  • Support alignment between business priorities and technical roadmaps across Agile Fusion Team and Global IT.
  • Manage a budget, including indirect fixed costs and capital expenditures.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, renewals, and contracts.
  • Collaborate with external technology and vendor partners to leverage best‑in‑class applications, processes, and innovations.
  • Translate Global IT strategies and objectives into executable tactical plans.
  • Provide direct leadership to the team.
  • Drive engagement and commitment across their technical resources.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, change agility, adaptability, ownership, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the team operates with a shared understanding of goals, success metrics, and IT expectations.
  • Actively develop team members through quarterly and annual performance assessments, coaching, and stretch assignments.
  • Conduct quarterly 9‑box reviews for external contractor talent to ensure alignment and performance.
  • Play an active role in hiring, onboarding, and building a strong talent pipeline for Global IT.
  • Ensure partners and teams are well‑utilized and continuously developing their skillsets.
  • Promote equity through diverse, inclusive teams that value different ideas and perspectives.
  • Represent and reinforce Schreiber Foods’ values and culture across all team interactions.
  • Use past technical experience to review and guide system designs and architecture decisions.
  • Monitor and manage resourcing gaps, capacity planning, and workload balancing.
  • Promote ongoing technical skill development and training across the team.
  • Work with business subject matter experts to understand and modernize business processes through automation and transformation.
  • Introduce and benchmark innovative technologies, methodologies, and industry trends to improve systems and delivery.
  • Create space for partners to explore new ways of executing tasks and drive a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Stretch partners beyond their comfort zones to identify emerging leaders and foster growth.
  • Engage with external peer networks to apply industry‑leading practices and bring outside‑in thinking to Global IT.
  • Ensure teams meet or exceed customer expectations through efficient, timely execution and strong business acumen.
  • Lead Agile delivery for Europe Fusion Agile Team supporting supply chain and manufacturing functions.
  • Ensure Technical resources evaluate and challenge solution designs to align with enterprise architecture and technical standards.
  • Bring a technical perspective into product roadmap discussions to inform feasibility, scalability, and dependencies.
  • Manages Level 3 support, larger production problems, and environment stability.
  • Select, negotiate, and oversee vendor technical deliverables to ensure quality, timelines, and compliance.
  • Coordinate cross‑team efforts to remove delivery bottlenecks and capability mismatches.
  • Monitor delivery progress, manage technical dependencies, and ensure compliance with IT governance.
  • Leverage Agile Scrum development methodologies to drive results and continuous improvement.
  • Enable self‑service analytics and data democratization across the organization.
  • Lead global execution, rollout, and continuous improvement of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, etc.).
Key Ingredients
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Data Science or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5‑10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, including direct accountability for global delivery teams, technical execution, and cross‑functional collaboration. 1‑3 year direct supervisory responsibilities is preferred.
  • 5+ years in Agile environments, with proven success leading Scrum or Agile Fusion teams across multiple geographies.
  • Strong background in software development, systems engineering, or data engineering.
  • Experience managing Level 3 support and production environments, including on‑call rotations and incident escalation.
  • Demonstrated success in vendor management, including contract negotiation, performance oversight, and integration of external resources.
  • Track record of driving process improvement and automation, especially in complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience leading diverse, distributed teams, with a focus on talent development, inclusion, and global workforce optimization.
  • Demonstrates business acumen in manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience managing budgets and capital expenditures, including vendor contracts and renewals.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), modern development tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub), ERP systems, and data technologies (e.g., Databricks, Power BI).
  • Strong external orientation, with experience engaging peer networks, benchmarking industry trends, and applying best practices.
