Job Purpose
The Head of Global Infrastructure Security is establishing and maintaining the infrastructure security globally, to ensure that information, infrastructure, and processes are protected in the information technology environment of the Straumann Group.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement infrastructure security standards and procedures for the global infrastructure organization.
- Assist in developing methods and processes to improve infrastructure security effectiveness.
- Increase infrastructure security of the network, digital workplace, cloud & datacenter, identity & accesses, communication & collaboration services.
- Manage and coordinate infrastructure security projects and initiatives.
- Monitor and assess the infrastructure security posture and performance.
- Support, identify and respond to infrastructure security incidents and breaches.
- Oversee the day-to-day infrastructure security processes and operations.
- Provide infrastructure security guidance and training to our infrastructure staff.
- Stay updated on the latest infrastructure security trends, threats, and best practices.
- Collaborate with other security teams, leadership, and other business divisions to assess key infrastructure security risks together, to improve global infrastructure security.
Requirements needed
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in IT security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CEH are preferred.
- Expertise in infrastructure security technologies and tools such as firewalls, antivirus, encryption, VPN, SIEM, etc.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Well-developed communication and presentation skills.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a team leader orchestrating a global/international team.
- 10+ years of experience spanning at least two SAP Basis disciplines, including technical architecture and Hana database management and/or SAP platform operations.
- Strong hands-on experience in managing Service Improvement Programs (SIP), Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA), etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to engage with and present to executive level; further languages a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment where a high degree of cross-functional collaboration is required to deliver outstanding results.
