A growing multinational company is seeking an HR Specialist to oversee HR operations across European locations. Responsibilities include recruitment, benefits administration, compliance with labor laws, and employee development. The Team

Reporting directly to the HR Director, the HR Specialist will play a key role in supporting our growing and broadening European operations. This position partners closely with the US based HR team, Finance, Legal, and senior leadership to ensure smooth execution of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits administration, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives. They will also assist with headcount reporting, performance cycles, and various people-related projects to support Unison’s expanding global team.

Candidates should have a degree in Human Resources or a related field, and at least 4 years of HR experience—ideally within a multinational environment. A proactive, resourceful approach, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently will be key to success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Hiring in Europe
    • Note: Temporary coverage while Global Recruiter is on Parental Leave. Estimated timeframe January – February 2026.
    • Develop and implement recruiting strategies, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and onboard new hires.
  • Employee records
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records for European employees and contractors, ensuring compliance with data protection and company policies.
  • Compensation and benefits
    • Administer employee benefits, process payroll, and assist with compensation structures and employee questions regarding their benefits for European employees and contractors.
  • Employee relations
    • Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and support management in matters like performance management and disciplinary actions for European employees and contractors.
  • Training and development
    • Coordinate and conduct training sessions to enhance employee skills and manage employee development programs in European locations.
  • Compliance
    • Ensure the organization complies with all applicable labor laws and regulations by staying updated and advising management on policy changes in European countries.
