Make Your Mark as an HR Manager - Manufacturing at Storio Group

About the role

This is a critical, hands‑on role where you serve as the site‑level expert for all operational HR execution at the plant. You will ensure our daily HR functions meet legal and policy standards. A key part of your role is supervising and developing a small team of three HR professionals, ensuring they give their best. You report to the HRBP Director and work closely with the Local Plant Director.

How you embrace curiosity daily
  • Act as the local expert on labour law and company policy, making sure everyone adheres to the rules.
  • Handle all critical, day‑to‑day HR tasks for the plant, supporting people operations as needed.
  • Be the first point of contact for daily labour relations, managing issues and disciplinary actions.
  • Guide and coach your team of three HR professionals on operational procedures and tricky issues.
  • Monitor your team’s work quality and compliance, intervening to correct errors right away.
  • Find ways to improve HR processes using technology to make them more efficient and accurate.
How you make your mark
  • Mitigate risk by proactively identifying and fixing immediate compliance issues at the plant level.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all local HR data for auditing and reporting purposes.
  • Represent HR alongside the Plant Director in local council and labour interactions.
  • Provide the Local Plant Director with immediate input and data on localised employee matters.
  • Set operational objectives for your team and ensure they deliver high‑quality results.
  • Lead performance management and development processes for your direct reports.
What you bring to the team
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant HR experience, with at least 3 years spent managing a team.
  • Expert‑level knowledge of local labour law and collective bargaining agreements, especially in manufacturing.
  • A proven record of success working in a fast‑paced plant or manufacturing environment.
  • Fluency in both the Spanish and English for effective communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to be highly resilient and thrive in a high‑pressure, changing environment.
  • A clear understanding of business operations, particularly within a plant setting.
What sets you apart
  • Prior experience supporting both blue‑collar and white‑collar workforces.
  • Familiarity with HR technology, specifically the Workday HRIS system.
  • A willingness to travel within Europe about one week every two months.
