A leading accommodation management firm in Barcelona is seeking a Hotel Contracting Junior Coordinator. The ideal candidate will manage hotel relationships, negotiate contracts for large events, and handle client requests. Applicants should have at least one year of relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and be fluent in English. This role offers flexibility with remote working options and a permanent, full-time contract.

Formación

  • 1 year’s experience in a similar position or relevant experience in hotel reservation and contracting.
  • Some knowledge of the B2B event (MICE) industry.
  • Local market and industry knowledge is a plus.

We have worked for prestigious & high-volume events, from Corporate events (Microsoft, Cisco, SAP), to B2B professional events (Mobile World Congress, Websummit, ISE) to large Medical Congresses & Exhibitions (CPHI, EASL)and sporting events & festivals (Roland Garros).

Your responsibilities:
  • Manage relationships with hotels, whilst negotiating and contracting rooms for large events in Barcelona and across EMEA with the fairest conditions available for the event organiser.
  • Draw up proposals and quotes adapted to the needs of participants.
  • Sending of commercial proposals.
  • Dealing with clients' requests (groups or individuals).
  • Resolve participants' problems in conjunction with partners.
  • Draw up contracts.
  • Up to date deposit calculation.
  • Payment chasing follow up.
  • Invoicing.
Profile:
  • An operational profile with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • 1 year’s experience in a similar position or relevant experience & knowledge in hotel reservation & contracting (IE: an Accommodation Project Manager or Hotel Reservation Manager).
  • Some knowledge of hotels and of the B2B Event (MICE) industry.
  • Some local market & industry know-how.
  • Adaptability & versatility, patience, rigor & accuracy.
  • Fluent English (oral and written) required; another foreign language is a plus.
  • Perfect command of Office (Outlook, Excel, Word,…)
