Head of Marketing
Purpose of Role

The Head of Marketing consistently works towards outstanding performance across all professional standards, driving successful outcomes and ensuring efficient and effective administrative operations to help our educational centre become the first choice in the local market.

This role is part of the administrative team, providing a friendly and welcoming service to students, staff, families, and visitors in a manner that truly reflects the values of our centre. The post holder is expected to prioritise tasks and manage their workload with minimal supervision to ensure marketing strategies, protocols, and procedures maximise student retention, drive enrolment growth, build a credible positive public image, and strengthen the brand across the region.

Our pursuit of excellence begins at the front gates, and this role should actively seek to ensure an outstanding public perception of our operations and provision.

Key Responsibilities
Corporate Identity

Develop a clear brand architecture and establish a framework for consistent corporate identity through a brand playbook.

Act as the guardian of the brand, ensuring proper and consistent use across all channels.

Support the centre in developing and using its stories and promises effectively.

Serve as community manager, guiding and supporting the creation of stories for social media to maintain corporate identity and maximise promotional efforts.

Create and execute the marketing plan for the centre.

Collaborate with the admissions team to design strategies for attracting and retaining students.

Design and create document templates, marketing collateral, and informative posters.

Conduct market research and analysis.

Manage and update the website and social media platforms regularly with engaging content and imagery.

Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses and relocation agencies to support student recruitment.

External and internal events
  • Lead participation and planning events to prospective and current families and students
  • Develop promotional materials and coordinate communications related to events, press releases, and other activities.
ISP Student activities & events promotion

Promote communication to encourage active participation of students and families in centre-wide activities and events.

Create newsletters and bulletins for staff and families, including termly magazines and yearbooks.

Document and photograph key events for marketing purposes.

Other Responsibilities

Provide regular progress updates on marketing activities to the leadership team.

Offer general administrative support and translations as needed.

Support academic leaders with student events and parent-facing activities.

Maintain calendars for all stakeholders.

Assist with facilities improvement plans and ensure marketing presence in all parent-facing initiatives.

Build strong relationships with ambassadors and key stakeholders.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Essential
  • Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or Business-related discipline
  • 5-10 years’ relevant experience in similar capacity, preferably but not necessarily in education sector
  • Native level of English and Spanish
  • Flexible, positive, and “can-do” attitude to work
  • Full understanding of Equal Opportunities and able to implement it in practice.
  • To communicate clearly and resolve any issues quickly and professionally.
  • To have excellent management skills and to be able to follow the school’s disciplinary code.

  • Excellent negotiation skills with the media and Agencies.
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management.
