What impact you will have

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) profile to lead and establish the FP&A function in a dynamic and growing manufacturing company with a global presence across North America and Europe. As the Head of FP&A, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, providing insightful financial analysis, and driving strategic initiatives that support growth and operational efficiency. This is a high-impact role, working closely with senior leadership, especially the CFO and business unit leaders, to guide decision-making through data-driven financial insights.

What you’ll do
  • FP&A Strategy and Leadership: Develop and lead the FP&A function, including creating a vision, establishing frameworks, and implementing best practices for the financial planning processes. Collaborate with senior management and the finance team to drive strategic financial decision-making. Partner with key stakeholders in the manufacturing operations, sales, and supply chain functions to integrate financial planning with business objectives. Lead the design and execution of a financial forecasting model that aligns with company goals, long-term planning, and operational realities in the manufacturing industry.
  • Financial Planning & Budgeting: Oversee the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic plan and business goals. Build rolling forecast processes to adapt to changing market conditions and business dynamics. Partner with operations and production teams to align manufacturing costs, capital expenditures, and operational performance metrics with financial targets. Develop variance analysis reports, identify key performance drivers, and communicate financial performance to senior leadership.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Deliver in-depth financial analysis to assess business performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. Lead monthly and quarterly reporting processes, including variance analysis, KPI tracking, and performance against targets. Provide detailed financial models and scenario analysis to assess potential risks and opportunities. Monitor market and industry trends to evaluate their financial impact on the company, particularly in manufacturing and supply chain costs.
  • Building and Managing FP&A Infrastructure: Design and implement financial planning tools and systems to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Build data-driven, automated financial models that can scale with the organization as it grows. Implement modern FP&A processes leveraging cloud-based software (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights) and streamline reporting workflows for efficiency and accuracy. Develop and mentor a growing FP&A team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Strategic Initiatives & Business Partnering: Work closely with business unit leaders to evaluate strategic initiatives, M&A opportunities, and capital investment decisions. Provide financial leadership for long-term capital projects, working capital management, and manufacturing expansion. Serve as a strategic partner to operations, finance, and executive teams in decision-making processes around profitability, cost optimization, and operational improvements. Support strategic projects, including cost reduction initiatives, pricing strategies, and profitability improvement measures across the business.
What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A roles; strong experience in manufacturing environments (required).
  • Proven track record of building FP&A functions from scratch, including the development of planning models, budgeting systems, and financial reporting tools.
  • Experience working in modern, data-driven organizations that leverage automation, financial modeling tools (e.g., Abacum, Pigment, Anaplan, etc.), and real-time data analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and experience in managing complex, cross-functional budgets.
  • Global experience or working within organizations with operations in North America and Europe is a plus.
  • Ability to align financial planning processes with overall business strategy.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and financial modeling skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational change in a high-growth environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial modeling tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), with a focus on automation and efficiency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred. Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CIMA are highly desirable.
What we offer
  • Attractive compensation package reflecting your expertise and experience.
  • Restaurant Pass.
  • Private Health Insurance.
  • Languages classes (English).
  • A healthy work environment with fresh fruits to energise and an on-site gym for active breaks.
