A leading sustainability firm in Madrid is seeking a passionate Sustainability Analyst intern. This 6-12 month full-time role focuses on environmental data analysis and project monitoring in the field of natural climate solutions. This 6-12 month internship position offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to grow professionally while contributing to advancing natural climate solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with our carbon intelligence team, gaining hands‑on experience in ecosystem monitoring, data analysis, and carbon market research.
Analyze ecosystem indicators to assess the health of tropical forest projects and generate actionable insights.
Utilize GIS tools, remote sensing technology, and relevant methodologies to support monitoring efforts for natural climate solutions and forest restoration initiatives.
Conduct in-depth research on the Voluntary Carbon Market (trends, competitors, and Verra methodologies) to inform project design.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sustainability strategies, prepare reports for stakeholders, and support efforts to measure and communicate project impacts.
Advanced data analytics skills with strong attention to detail.
Proficient use of Microsoft Applications (Word, Powerpoint, Excel).
Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
Ability to work autonomously and diligently in remote settings.
Familiarity with Google Suite, amongst other remote working tools.
Familiarity with GIS tools (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) and data analysis (e.g., Python, VBA, R).
