Job description

Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective Azure-based solutions.
  • Develop reference architectures and best practices for cloud adoption.
Cloud Strategy & Governance
  • Define cloud architecture standards, policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational requirements.
Technical Leadership
  • Provide technical guidance to development and operations teams.
  • Lead cloud migration projects and modernization initiatives.
Performance & Optimization
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Implement automation for deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with business leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Present architecture designs and roadmaps to senior management.
Job Requirements
Background
  • Bachelor’s degree in business information systems (IS), computer science or a related field, or equivalent IT experience. MBA in IS or other master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 15 years’ experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years focused on Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud and on‑premises integration.
  • Experience designing multi-region, highly available architectures.
  • Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of any other European language is a plus.
Certifications
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Additional certifications (Azure Security Engineer, DevOps Engineer) would be a plus.
Required Skills
  • Deep knowledge of Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Security, DevOps).
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to communicate to a variety of audiences across business function and level, tailoring messages appropriately.
  • Ability to work closely with different teams, stakeholders and partners, feeling confidence to deal with senior and demanding stakeholders on a daily basis.

  • Availability to travel abroad 15% of the time.
