Position: German-speaking Lead Development Representative

We are looking for a German-speaking Lead Development Representative to join our clients dynamic sales team in Barcelona, Spain. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and accelerating partner-led and direct business opportunities. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to drive sales efficiency, improve conversion rates, and ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads to the business development and account management teams.
This position is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about driving revenue growth through meaningful engagement and proactive outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Qualify and accelerate partner-led opportunities to improve conversion rates and shorten sales cycles.
- Collaborate with partners and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient deal progression.
- Maintain CRM accuracy, update opportunity records, and monitor pipeline health.
- Manage opportunities closing directly or routing to appropriate teams based on deal stage and value.
- Provide feedback to enhance partner lead quality and engagement processes.
- Develop and document best practices, workflows, and collaboration models to support sales excellence.
- Work closely with business development teams to manage and convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).
- Execute outbound sales campaigns via phone, email, and social channels to generate new business in small and mid-sized market segments.
- Research accounts to identify key stakeholders, decision-makers, and business needs.
- Tailor outreach and presentations to highlight the value of the companys solutions.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including lead aging, opportunity progression, and conversion rates.
- Ensure a smooth and informed transition of opportunities to account managers or sales representatives.
Requirements
- Fluent in German (C1 level), both written and spoken, and proficient in English (minimum B2).
- 13 years of experience in lead generation, sales development, or inside sales, preferably in a B2B, SaaS, or technology-driven environment.
- Proven record of success in prospecting, cold calling, and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport quickly.
- Comfortable discussing technology solutions and eager to learn new products.
- Understanding of SMB market dynamics and customer buying behaviors is an advantage.
- Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics) and sales engagement tools (Outreach, Salesloft, etc.).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
