A leading technology firm is seeking a GaN Technology Engineer for a full-time position in Spain. This role involves ensuring the successful design, optimization, and characterization of GaN-based photonic devices. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, strong skills in semiconductor physics, and experience with photonic design tools. The role requires collaboration with process engineers and adherence to cleanroom protocols, making it an ideal opportunity for those passionate about photonics and optoelectronics.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Applied Physics, Photonics, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Academic or research experience in III-V semiconductors or photonic integration.

Responsabilidades

• Execute assigned tasks in the design, simulation, and layout of integrated photonic devices using GaN.
• Support process development and optimization for GaN-based device fabrication.
• Document results and maintain accurate records of experiments.

Conocimientos

Understanding of semiconductor physics

Familiarity with GaN fabrication processes

Photonic design tools (KLayout, Cadence)

Experience with Lumerical (FDTD, MODE)

COMSOL Multiphysics experience

Hands-on testing equipment experience

Device simulation tools knowledge

Programming skills in Python

Knowledge of cleanroom processes

Technical English proficiency

Educación
