• Several years of experience in embedded engineering with focus on functional safety.
• Experience with Safety Standards ISO 26262.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.

• Design technical safety concepts and software architectures.
• Define and negotiate safety mechanisms with development partners.
• Lead requirements engineering and software design.

What We’re Looking For

SAFETY ENGINEER (Mandatory to reside in Spain). We have an exciting opportunity to lead and empower a multicultural team.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in embedded engineering with focus on functional safety.
• Familiarity with software engineering processes ASPICE, SAFe.
• Experience with Safety Standards ISO 26262.
• Experience with Rust, Python, and modern C++ beneficial.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.

Core Responsibilities

• Design technical safety concepts and software architectures.
• Define and negotiate safety mechanisms with development partners.
• Lead requirements engineering, software design, and support implementation.
• Document software development processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Support and drive safety analysis activities (FMEA, HARA, FTA).
• (Optional) Experience with doc-as-code tools.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication (proactive reporting & collaboration).
• Flexibility & adaptability in dynamic environments.
• Motivation and strong team spirit.
• Experience in multicultural teams.

Languages

• English / Spanish: C1 (Reading, Writing, Speaking).
• German: Desirable (Not Mandatory).

• Location: 100% Remote (Only Spanish Residents).
• Schedule: Flexible, with Intensive Fridays.
