The ideal candidate will support management in ensuring adequate risk controls and promoting health and safety issues throughout the organization. This role requires negotiation-level Spanish and English, and a postgraduate degree in Prevention of Labour Risks. Overview

opportunity for an Environmental, Health & Safety Technician has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid).

Responsibilities

• To support the local management and ensure that there are adequate risk controls, that work-related incidents are effectively investigated and that support from a specialist is requested when necessary.


• Promote the issues of environment, health and safety in the workplace throughout the organization at all levels (from senior management to workshop staff), ensuring the availability of relevant training, awareness campaigns and EHS initiations (Environment, health & Safety).


• Attend local EHS meetings planned by management with the relevant representatives of the workshop (including trade unions).

Qualifications / Skills

• Postgraduate in Prevention of Labour Risks.


• At least 2-3 years of experience in Prevention of Labour Risks.


• Good knowledge of the industrial processes, laws and national regulations related to the workplace.


• Spanish and English must be negotiation level.


• Good communication and negotiation skills.
