Overview

Entry-Level ServiceNow IT Help Desk 2nd Level Support Technician (No previous ServiceNow experience required; full training given) - German Speaking - Barcelona or Mallorca (Majorca), Spain (60% Remote work).

Permanent Job.

Flexible Start Date from September 2025 Onwards.

Salary Range: €30,000 - €35,700 Gross per annum + Great Company Fringe Benefits.

We are considering candidates with no prior ServiceNow experience, recent IT graduates, Junior IT professionals, Key users looking to make the step up into becoming a ServiceNow Support Technician, or those who already have a few years of ServiceNow experience.

If you already have a couple of years of ServiceNow experience (as either a consultant or key user / super user), this would be perfect as the client also has more senior positions in the team too; we are open to receiving applications from candidates at all experience levels from entry level to senior level.

Our end-client, a well known Retail company in Spain, has an office in Barcelona. They are currently offering a rare and exciting career opportunity.

This is an entry-level position (however, they also have more senior level positions open in the team too), where unlike most clients, our client is willing to hire candidates with no previous ServiceNow experience and will train you to become a ServiceNow Support Technician / Analyst.

We are looking for candidates who are pro-active, ambitious and motivated to develop a career as a ServiceNow Support Technician - ServiceNow is one of the most respected Enterprise-Grade ITSM platforms in the world.

Your profile

Essential :

  • Must have one of the following: University Degree (in IT / Computer Science or a similar subject) OR Experience in 1st / 2nd / 3rd Level IT Support or IT programming OR a couple of years of ServiceNow experience either as a key user / super user or consultant / support analyst

  • To become a ServiceNow Support Technician - receive internal training on how to support ServiceNow applications from scratch

No prior experience

Languages
  • Must be strong in German (minimum B2 Level).
  • Must be strong in English (minimum B2 Level).
Main Tasks
  • You strengthen our international team in the Service & Support department, being responsible for the support and operations related to the ServiceNow ITSM platform.
  • You support our IT colleagues and end users within the group with troubleshooting.
  • You prioritize, analyze, document and process incoming error tickets.
  • Your activities also include close cooperation with the specialist departments and the internal and external development departments.
  • If necessary, you train the local support departments with specially created training sessions.
  • Continuous optimization of the support processes and operation is one of the focus points in your daily work.
  • You handle proactive and reactive problem management to avoid long-term disruptions in ServiceNow.
  • You are the service contact person for application support
  • Trainings to new employees take around 2 months done within the team.
  • Training is focused on the support needs required.
Remote Working
  • The company has a hybrid working model: 60% remote work per month
  • You will have the freedom to choose which days you want to work in the office and which days to work remotely.
  • There is no set schedule and you have complete freedom to pick and choose your own working schedule to an extent.
  • There will be some days when a team meeting / workshop is scheduled and you must attend the office on the specified day.
  • You can NOT work remotely from outside of Spain.
  • If you do not live in Spain, you must relocate to Spain.
  • You can live anywhere in Spain as long as you are willing to commute to the Barcelona office 40% per month (ideally 1-2 days per week in the office).
Salary Package and Benefits

Salary: The Fixed Basic Salary on offer is subject to your skills, knowledge and experience and ranges between €30,000 - €35,700 gross per annum.

Spanish Work Permit:
