A global service provider for the video game industry is seeking an English to French Editor to ensure high-quality localization. This role involves reviewing translations, collaborating closely with translators and project managers to deliver contextually appropriate translations. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in translation and editing, native-level proficiency in French, and familiarity with video game terminology and localization processes. This position offers a remote working arrangement.

Keywords Studios is seeking an English to French Editor to join our team and ensure high-quality localization for various projects related to the video game industry.

As an editor, you will review and refine translations, ensuring they meet the linguistic and cultural standards expected by our clients. You will work closely with translators and project managers to deliver accurate and contextually appropriate translations that resonate with the target audience.

Requirements

• Fluent in both English and French (native-level proficiency in French)
• Strong editing and proofreading skills with a focus on linguistic accuracy
• At least 3 years of experience in translation and editing in the localization industry
• Familiarity with video game terminology and localization processes
• Experience with CAT tools and other translation software
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Attention to detail and a passion for high-quality work
